About MeBehind every great brand is a great human (well, one with a desire to put something special out there). That would be me, Emily. (Hi!)
With a background in fashion design, I have worked in the industry for over 8 years. My first jobs were in sewing factories, retail and design. It's safe to say I've had an eclectic overview of the industry. I love designing clothing which feels great to wear and has a strong context behind it. A reason why. I started Après Plunge by making a pair of fleece dungarees for my wild swimming mum as she wanted a more stylish option than a swim robe. This quickly resulted in floods of requests from her swimmy pals, and I knew there was a need for fleecy dungas out there! So an idea was born... A design-led option which can be worn post dip and beyond. And of course, I adore wild swimming, having grown up in The Lake District. My favourite food is radishes, seafood and anything butterscotch (although this could change as I LOVE variety). The water is my home. |
